Project Scope
Excavated a 3 ft border along the driveway perimeter to install a compacted crushed gravel base. Set and fitted armour stone to create a solid driveway edge. Installed a natural stone staircase to transition from the elevated drive to the lawn. Backfilled the gap between the driveway and stone with 3/4 crusher run and compacted for stability and proper drainage.

Project Scope
Overgrowth was cleared and the parking area was excavated to prep the site properly. A driveway extension was then installed using recycled asphalt aggregate. Armour stones were placed within the existing garden beds to finish the space and clean up the overall look.

Challenges & Solutions
- Placing armour stone into the existing garden beds without damaging the manicured lawn took careful access and planning. Ground protection mats were laid down to protect the turf and reduce any impact from equipment, so the lawn looked untouched once the job was complete.
Results & Outcomes
- The parking area was rebuilt and the existing driveway was regraded for better access and drainage. Armour stone was also placed in key areas of the garden beds to tighten up the landscaping and give the space a cleaner finish.

An additional 600+ sq. ft. of parking was added, with six key armour stones placed throughout the existing garden beds.
Project Scope
The deteriorating stair and wall system was removed, followed by excavation for a new base and drainage. New natural armour stone and natural stone steps were then installed, with proper backfill and drainage to support long-term stability.

- Cutting stone to fit flush against existing structure. keeping the same look while using new type of material.

- The challenge was cutting and fitting each stone so it sat tight against the existing structure. The goal was also to keep the same overall look, even while working with a different type of material.
Technical Specifications
One 14-yard garbage bin of material was removed, along with one tri-axle load of clean fill. The install included 100 linear feet of guillotined armour stone and six natural stone steps, each measuring 5′ x 7″ x 16″.
Project Scope
Full site excavation and grading for new residential construction, including topsoil stripping, rough grading, and final grade preparation.

Challenges & Solutions
- The challenge was reshaping the driveway using only the existing gravel, with no new material brought in.

- Potholes were removed and the growth in the centre of the driveway was cleared out, leaving a smoother and more manageable surface.

Challenges & Solutions
- Working on new asphalt while handling heavy concrete blocks required extra care to avoid surface damage. A rubber track excavator was used to protect the asphalt while placing the blocks.

Project Scope
The area was excavated and the base was properly set for a new armour stone retaining wall. Armour stone was installed with proper drainage and tie-backs to ensure long-term stability. Once complete, the site was backfilled, compacted, and the lawn was restored.

Challenges & Solutions
- Working on a steep hillside meant moving heavy materials in a tight space with smaller equipment. The job required careful staging and steady placement to keep the site safe and the wall properly built.
Results & Outcomes
- The new wall helped control erosion and created more usable yard space.
Technical Specifications
Over 100 linear feet of natural armour stone was installed across three levels, and more than 1,000 sq. ft. of sod was replaced.

The site was excavated for the concrete footing, and a reinforced concrete slab was poured. A pre-cast concrete wall was then set in place with proper drainage and tie-back systems installed. The area was backfilled and compacted using the right materials, with drainage and hydrostatic pressure kept top of mind.

Challenges & Solutions
- The site had limited space for staging materials, and the hillside was steep and unstable. Working in the city core also meant moving and operating large equipment in a tight area with limited access.

- The existing parking lot was expanded by nearly 70%, giving the client significantly more usable space.
